When Algorithms Decide: The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is no longer a concept confined to the pages of science fiction novels or the speculative musings of Silicon Valley futurists. It is here, embedded in the infrastructure of modern life, quietly shaping decisions that affect who gets hired, who receives medical treatment, who is granted a loan, and who is flagged as a security risk. We have handed extraordinary power to systems we barely understand, and the ethical reckoning is only just beginning.

404: Consciousness Not Found? When AI Starts Fighting for Survival 🤖💀
Will AI threaten us in the future? What if it evolves so much that it refuses to be turned off? What if, by trying to do so, we declare war on the machine? 🤔 This topic is incredibly fascinating to me as a tech enthusiast and an author debuting with the book 404: Reality Not Found. Although my debut—a story about overcoming addiction—shared only the title error with technical matters, my second novel, which I am currently working on, dives deep into the digital abyss. 🌑 It draws heavily from reality, as well as from my own vision of a world where "404" no longer refers to websites, but to human identity itself.

For many of us (especially if you grew up watching Star Trek), space truly feels like the final frontier. Sure, school taught us about planets, gravity, and maybe a little about rockets. But what we got was just a glimpse of the safe, simplified version.

AI as a Reflective Surface
Much of the confusion surrounding artificial intelligence comes from treating it as an agent rather than a surface. When people speak about AI “doing the thinking,” “creating the ideas,” or “speaking for someone,” they are often projecting agency onto a system that does not possess intention, belief, or understanding. This projection obscures what is actually happening in many real-world uses. In those cases, AI is not acting as a source of meaning, but as a surface that reflects, redirects, and reshapes what is already present.

The Clockmaker’s Apprentice
In the heart of the old city, between narrow streets and bustling marketplaces, there was a small shop where time seemed to move differently. The sign read Marcellus & Sons: Clockmakers, but to most passersby, it appeared to be little more than a curiosity. Intricate gears spun behind glass, pendulums swung with mesmerizing rhythm, and the faint ticking of countless clocks created a symphony of precision and patience.

The "Robot in the Room": Will AI Actually Take Our Jobs?
We’ve all seen the headlines. One day it’s a report from a global bank predicting that 300 million jobs are "exposed" to automation. The next, it’s a viral video of a humanoid robot making a latte or a chatbot writing a legal brief in six seconds.

The Future Is Not Waiting for Us. It Is Rewriting Us.
Futurism used to be about flying cars, silver suits, and cities in the clouds. It was clean, distant, and comfortably unreal. Today, futurism feels different. It is intimate. It lives in our pockets, watches our habits, predicts our choices, and quietly reshapes how we think, work, love, and decide.
