Crushed by you
Fear grips like handcuffs,
I can’t move, I am trapped now,
You are crushing me.

The Fear
Fear coils around my chest,
each breath a fight against your weight.
Walls close in and shadows stretch,
I am small, unseen, and pressed.
Your presence looms like iron,
a chain I cannot undo.
I reach for air, for space, for mercy,
but only find the grip tightening.
Time slows, every second a shackle,
and I wonder if release is a memory
or a dream I can no longer touch.
But still, I wrench my soul from your hands,
a flare of defiance in the dark.
Though crushed beneath your shadow,
I shatter, burn, and claw my own escape
